Update on Store
Status - 9/1/08
The "New This Week"
Newsletter is back! Beginning next week, this
newsletter will only be sent to active subscribers.
However, everyone can still access this information
directly from the "New This Week" link on our
website.
We would truly like to thank
those of you who have committed to staying with our
subscription service since the closure of our retail
store! If you have not contacted us yet about
your subscriptions, please send an email to
comics@thelegendshop.com.
We are continuing on to serve
your passion for our products. Without a
retail store, there are some disadvantages, but
plenty of advantages as well.
Beginning this week, we are
instituting a new policy for all subscribers!
Every subscriber will automatically receive a 15%
discount on all comics, and a 10% discount on all
other items (toys, statues, clothing, magazines,
etc). All your comics still come bagged and
boarded for free!
Not only that, but we are
instituting a door-to-door service for our customers
that live in Goodyear AZ. We will bill for our
services via PayPal, and then deliver directly to
your door once payment has been received. For
those customers outside Goodyear, a nominal shipping
charge will be included in your PayPal bill.
Also beginning next month, each
subscriber with more than five titles will also receive a copy of Previews
Magazine free of charge, along with a consumer order
form. Please let us know before the 25th of
each month if we can order additional items for you!
We will require a 50% deposit for any additional
orders over $25.00. This is a required
condition as we no longer have a retail store to
market items that are not picked up.
Operating without a retail
store does have some disadvantages. The
biggest is that changes to your subscriptions may
take a minimum of 3 weeks to take effect. This
is due to the order cycle through our distributor.
We ask that you factor in this 3 week period when
making any changes to your subscription. Of
course, we will always try to get your new titles
immediately if they are in stock. However, we
also must ask our customers to keep their commitment
to items already ordered. We do not have the
benefit of having additional sales that can cover
our losses without the storefront.
As always, we appreciate your
business.
